Keplar offers a before and after school program for enrolled students. For more information or to enroll your child, please contact their teacher or the office for more information.

Cost: The Keplar After-School Program is offered at no cost to the family. Students must be enrolled in the program to participate in the activities.

After-School Activities, Tutoring, and Homework Help: It is the goal of the After-School Program to offer fun, enriching activities as well as tutoring and homework help for students in a safe, familiar, and structured environment.

Snacks: Nutritious snacks will be provided each afternoon for all students attending the After-School Program.

Days and Hours of Operation: Keplar's After-School Program will operate on Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday afternoons from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. during the school year when school is regularly in session. If school is closed or closes early on abbreviated days, the After-School Program will not operate.

Student Attendance: Students enrolled in the After-School Program may attend any days desired during the weel, but must attend at least one afternoon each week.

Student Pick-Up: Students attending the After-School Program may be picked up by a designated person any time. Parents/Guardians arriving to pick up their child must enter the school building and sign their child out. Parents/Guardians arriving to pick their child up after 5:30 will be charged a fee of $5.00 for each 15 minutes they are late. For example, a parent arriving at 5:32 will be charged $5.00; a parent arriving at 5:47 will be charged $10.00. Late fees are due in cash on the day they incurred.

Student Behavior: The After-School Program is an extension of a regular school day. It is expected that students attending the program will conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the established standards for classroom behavior and safety. In the event that a student's behavior is disruptive and the student does not respond to corrective action by program staff, the student's parent/guardian will be called to meet with the school principal. At that time, remedies will be discussed for improving the student's behavior if the student wishes to continue in the After-School Program. After 3 such meetings between the Parent/Guardian and the Principal, the student may be denied the privilege of attending the After-School Program for the remainder of the year.

Questions?: Please feel free to call Keplar School at (423) 272-9390 if you have any questions regarding the After-School Program.
